SCOUT GROUPS

A number of local Scout groups had loans (shares) in Marabu and frequently took part in sail training. These photos show 3rd & 5th Lancing Sea Scouts on board Marabu led by scout leader Tom Smith with David Isted as Skipper.

Today 3rd & 5th Lancing Sea Scouts are looking forward to sailing a large ketch called Supeta, now almost completely refitted in Shoreham, West Sussex; a task that has taken over two years
(as of February 2020).
